    Damage from crystal case

Together with my M3 I've ordered a crystal case for protection of my player.

This morning I've discovered that there is a small piece of plastic from the moulding still present on the front part of the case. This has caused a small dent in the front of the player

Does anybody else encountered this problem?

Your right, I new I had the little dent but I thought it was just an imperfection in the player face but it does line up with that little bump in the case. Bummer
With any luck it is just the protective coating that is marked and may smooth out over time.

I hate it when things like this happen to my new toys

As far as I can see the dent is in the protective coating of the player (can you replace it ?). I'll just cut away the bump in the casing and continue to enjoy the M3 :D

My crystal case damaged my M6. It made a scratch on my screen, or protective thingy (which is on the screen). I just don't use it anymore because I am afraid it will make some scratches on my nice screen again

Last time I checked, my M3 was fine. I have used it with the crystal case for 3 days now and I won't use it without it because I hate scratches. Will my Music Card get "damaged"? :/

Just check the case before you use it. The offending piece of plastic is the size of a fullstop and can be removed. It is almost center to the touch strip at the bottom of the front section.

Sorry to hear that I'm not the only one having problems with the case. I found another dent on the left side of the M3 (not sure if the case is to be blamed for this one). I'm considering not using the case anymore, but I rather not take the M3 with me unprotected.

I'm also not very happy with the way the case closes. When opening you need some serious amount force to do so. This could give you the risk of a flying M3. I'll see if I can make some changes to the case so it will open up easier.

Does anybody know if the protective layer on the player can be bought from Meizu ?

It should be near the inside bottom of the case below the opening for the touch strip. If you don't see it, use your nails to feel if there is a bump on the inner surface of the case.

Ouch. I can now see the plastic fault on the crystal case. Will the "damage" be very visable? Is there anyway to remove the plastic thingy on the crystal case? How should I open the crystal case without breaking the case of damaging my M3? because it is so damn hard to take it out from the case!

    Thnx
In my case you only see the "damage" when you keep the player into the light under a certain angle. If you keep the player in front of you, you won't see it.

I removed the moulding spot with a sharp knife. You should carefully try to cut it away. You will get some marks on the inside of the case, but the moulding spot will be gone.

I also noticed that is extremely hard to open the case. I cut away the top two "locks". If you carefully push the top part of the case to one side and the bottom part to the other side you should be able to put your nail in between the the two parts. Gently slide you nail from the bottom to the top of the case. With mine it will open before my nail reaches the middle "lock".
