It's funny...
Okay so, I was discussing with a friend (an iPod fanboy) that the Meizu M3 is a true iPod Nano Killer. Now what I find funny is that even after extensively showing the comparisons in size as well as specifications that he said the iPod Nano was still...better! LOL Now am I just being crazy or is the M3 an iPod Nano killer?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI love my Meizu, but for the average Joe I still think the Nano is a safer bet.
The simple navigation, seamless integration with iTunes, support for DRM'ed content & every accessory under the sun. Not to mention the wealth of information/ guides available online & in publications.
I, personally, require UMS, better sound quality, etc. but not everyone does.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI just listen to music. I like my M6. I like my 5G iPod too. Both are good values. Neither Apple nor Meizu controls me. I don't like nano's SQ - kind of mushy. That's why I can't own one, even if they're awesome otherwise.

What is better in the Meizu M3 than Nano?
-Price
-Quality
-Functions
-Look
-Sound
-Formats that the player plays
-Video
-Display
-Battery time
-And you don't need iTunes for the M3!
-No drm iTunes crap.
-It's not apple ^^
The M3 is better in all ways. And it's also cheaper. People get's iPod Nano because it has a apple logo on it, but the quality isn't as good as the Music Card.

while i like my M3 the controls of the nano are better imo
skipping tracks and fast forwarding on the M3 sucks
besides that... ill take an M3 over a nano any day
ps: i keep hearing the M3 has a better display than the nano... arent they exactely the same?

I think that the M3 has better visibility in sunlight. And ouch the M3 is really better than Nano in most ways. It will get better and better, firmware update's ya know. ^^

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsEven if the M3 is better than a Nano, The M3 isnt as available to buy as apple products or other big brands. Meizu doesnt sell their products at Best Buy or those big stores. I bet that alot of people dont even know about the other choices they have for music players other than what is sold at the big stores. I think that if the M3 and nano were equally know to everyone and more available people would buy a M3.

also it must be mentioned that as much as I love the m3 and would never even consider a nano the look of the interface is I feel probably better on the nano. Small things like the font of the display and and the clarity of interface graphics (not screen brightness) and the correct alignment of album art (in relation to rest of the screen) and the movement of the windows, however apple are renowned for this and have had far longer to perfect it. It can't be denied that the fluidity of movement and visual impact of the interface is better on the nano. While the M3 beats the nano in every other department (styling, codecs, sound, options etc) it can't test the nano's GUI
Also why does the m3 not have an add to playlist function which can be used to make playlists on the go?Last edited by sere83; 05-08-2007 at 09:59 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIn every way that is important to me, the M3 is a vastly superior product at a much, much lower price point.
- Better Sound Quality
- More Interesting GUI
- Better Codec Support
- Smaller Size
- Less Wasted Surface Area
- Factory Installed Front Surface Protection
I used to use my 8gb NANO, until I received my 8gn M3!
