M3 turns off after a few minutes when in pause

My MusicCard seems to automatically turn off after only a few minutes when I put the music in pause. Is that normal ?

While listening to music at work, I am often disturbed by colleagues that ask me questions, and I pause music. Once the question answered, most of the time the M3 is off, and I have to boot it up : it remembers where it was in the current track, but boot time is not instant and it gets rather annoying.

Yes, this is upsetting many others.

Maybe it will be changed in firmware, since there's a lot of call for it.

I think the limit is 3 minutes, but I remember reading somewhere that it has been increased in the last firmware, 2.003.

It's the same thing for the M6. A few minutes and it automatically shuts down.

Ideally it should have an user selectable time setting for power down when paused.
