    M3 firmware/GUI Remarks

I thought the M3 would have a completely new GUI.
My m3 runs -what I think is- the latest firmware T2.00.1.3 but the GUI is pretty much the same as the m6's

Will the promised new GUI be implemented later or will they stick with this one?

Besides that there are 2 things regarding the name of the firmware(T2.00.1.3 ) that strike me as odd.

    1) The M3 is an SP player. Why use the confusing T before the firmware? Most of us will link this with the TP version(M6)

    2) The M3 is just out yet the firmware is at 2.00.1.3. instead of 1.00.XX

It seems they took the M6 firmware and adjusted it for the M3 instead of making a new totally new firmware for the M3

    Off Topic:

I tried the sound of the M3 and it is very nice
    Slightly clearer than the M6's

One thing I noticed is that the M3 comes without the accessories the M6 comes with. No back protector, velvet pouch or wrist strap.
I hope late versions will include these accessories

LOL Job, you are one in a million with the M3 so far... lucky you!

Is there the hissing sound or problems with end-of-track screeches? Is the spatializer good and what type?

The hissing is a lot less present in my opinion
The general sound of the M3 seems to be just a tad crisper than the M6's
The spatializer and other sound options are exactly the same as in the M6

As for the end of song mp3 problems i cant really tell you as there seems to be just one of my many songs effected by it and I dont remember which one it is so I cant put it to the test.
All of my other songs play perfectly on both M6 and M3

actually the only things you get with is is the USB cable and the earphones. oh and a CD with drivers.. thats it... nothing more

personally i dont mind the pouch or strap much but I do want a back protector as now my M3 will be prone to scratches
