Why not buy it from the website?
It's cheaper than buying it in a store...

    from meizu.com webstore?

Not true, i've heard from several members here that street prices are always better and you always have the chance to ask for a discount :D
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

Tianhe, there are a couple Meizu stores in the computer malls. You can try to get a discount, but they are pretty firm on pricing. You can however, usually get them to discount accessories like skins, preload some movies and music, and a wall charger, etc.

It is possible to get the price down by a big (20 RMB max), but Meizu actually tries to enforce the same pricing in the entire of China, and if they find out that a dealer has been abusing their agreement, the dealer will be fined heavily.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Not so, the prices in Hong Kong are more expensive than the site...
I bought my Music Card for 790, the price on the site was 650.

You were tricked by the dealer. It also happened to me when I bought my first M6.

    Question:

How could anyone want to 'haggle' over the price of this DAP when it already clearly represents one of the best values on the market anyway.

I, for one, am always willing to pay the manufacturer's asking price when a product is truly worth it (as is the case with MEIZU products), especailly knowing that my financial support will only further their research and development, so that they can bring out even better/more innovative products in the future.

Doesn't anyone ever look at the BIG PICTURE?

I understand you train of thought. However, you also have to understand that in some cultures its normal or even a habbit to haggle

My guess is you are, like me, from a western country were haggeling is not part of the shopping experience.
In some countries though (Dont know about China in this case) it can actually be regarded offensive if you dont haggle as the seller might think youre not taking him seriously or being arrogant

So if you look at the bigger bigger picture its actually quite normal

Nah, wasn't tricked by the dealer. Went to a few store, they all had the same price. So much for Hong Kong being a shopping heaven.

Thats why I prefer to buy it from their websites bro. Stores here just jack up prices to raise profits which don't exactly do Meizu good.

Most of the well knows electronic brands are cheaper in HK, Meizu is not. There is no big demand for chinese brands in HK.

As i was saying there is no demand for chinese brads in HK, didnt mean the cheap mp4 player that you can buy super cheap in every computer center in HK.

I found only one seller in Mongkok Comp. Center selling Meizu for 50% higher price. The electronic chains do not sell Meizu.

Hi,I got my M3 4gb from ebay seller in China. Looks like an ebay shop.
    seller name is ventures cn1.
I am in France and he did really good job with shipping for 112€ all inclusive. No custom duties.

    The M3 is lovely.
Only one small problem. Is there a english manual somewhere on the web?
    Thanks

Yea, I've been trying to find a english manual as well. But oh well, I guess our english manuals gonna have to be this forum, which we help our fellow men.
BTW, in the Settings lists, there is a Tips which tells you how to reset etc...

    Hello,

My friends are actually in Hong Kong, and they told me that the Meizu M3 didn't exist in Hong Kong ! I can't believe it, all
the more so as this brand is a chinese brand.
    My friends are in this hotel ;
    Shamrock
    223, Nathan Road,
    Kowloon, Hong Kong

On the official website, we can find the sellers :
    http://meizu.com/dealer.asp
I can't read chinese, but if some people can do it, can they give me the first-three sellers who are the nearest of the hotel ? Can someone give me the adresses where we can buy Meizu Music Card M3 in Hong Kong ? I would say it to my friends.

    Thanks for your help.
