wishlist for next music card firmware

I don't know how many people have the new Music Card, but the firmware is a bit sloppy. Post your suggestions for improvement here.

    My wishlist:
*Have "video" category on the main menu. You can only access videos form browser and it make video choppy.
*better next/prev. button control. You have to hold in button for a few seconds to get it to next (or previous) mode then click. It gets annoying at times.
EDIT: *I thought of another! Have the prototype GUI option in the next firmware!.

Hi, I think I'm going to buy a M3 and I'd like to know how is the M3 sound quality compared to the M6's ? What are the languages supported?

I have not had a chance to day to compare the sound on the M3 to the M6 yet. I will get back to you on that. The m3 supports the same languages as the m6. When an editor comes out, members can make more languages.

For next firmware it would be nice to have ID3 v2.3/2.4 support, with embedded and linked (just the file name in the tag) album art support.

I have a white 4gb and a black 8gb, and find the only things lacking are:

Moving VIDEO the the Main Menu (Easy Firmware Update)

A 1.8 inch screen (Total Redesign)

    More Powerful Headphone Output (Hopefully)

    Other than that... PERFECT!

    - different fonts(current font is too scrawny)
    - improved skipping next/previous button functionality (the current way is terrible and practically useless. I suggest something like single tap for previous song, double tap for next song)
    - implement FF and Rewind in a more practical way
    - video at 25-25 fps
    - video option visible in main menu
    - implement an auto-off after like 15 minutes. My player now stays on for ever if i forget to turn it off
    - brighter display setting. The M3 display seems darker(yet strangely more visible in daylight) than the M6's display

yeah...i just downloaded the converter for the M3.. it didn't come bundled with the player
Ill give it a spin today

I did upgrade the firmware yet the current video seems choppy but that might be because its an old vid that came on the player and so is encoded at a lower fps

btw another change in the firmware should be: THE NAME!
Why is it called T somethingsomething while the M3 is an SP player? thats asking for confusion!
cant they call it M somethingsomething?

I dont have an M3, but the following 3 links explain the difference between TP and SP M6 players. In the past the S/T was used to denote the manufacturer (Samsung/Toshiba) of the screen. Perhaps the M3 screen is also Toshiba?

    M6 Toshiba Vs Samsung Screen/Display
Is the SP model replacing the TP model?
SP and TP Miniplayer: What's the difference?

    - Since 2.003.4 firmware, I can play some *.WMA (64KBps VBR) which didn't be played before.

    - But I have always one same problem:
the *.WMA, which are over the 3.8 Gb of M3's flash memory, can't be played! So I can play the first *.WMA, the second, etc... But the 1535th *.WMA can't be played! Why??

    hi,
first of all sorry for my bad english.

    here are my suggestions:
    - why do you have to scroll DOWN to fast-forward a track and not up like increasing the volume? logic?
    - after fast-forwarding/rewinding a track you have to click several times to go back to your "now playing" screen. after changing the position it should go directly to "now playing"
    - the ff/rr button is useless. better would be: 1 click for FF and a double click for RR
    - for some menu items you have to click "<>" instead of the middle button to activate it. why?
    - make use of replaygain tags
    - fast-forward / rewind in video playback
    - own menu item for video

but these are only a few small suggestions for a product that is almost perfect. i love my meizu!
