    8Gb seems the best option
Huge storage at a low price...
does anyone have hands on experience with the sound quality of the M3 yet?
is it really better than the M6's?

Let's wait for the testers on their opinion at the Meizu BBS forum. If someone finds it, I'll be glad to translate for you.

I just ordered the M3 Black 8gb last night (US 189.00 w/shipping), I couldn't resist even though I have yet to receive the M3 White 4gb (US 149.00 w/shipping) I ordered last week...

    Well,

I've had quite a bit of time with my M3's, and so far I',m only somewhat pleased with them.

The biggest problem that I'm having is that the DAP appears to have issues identifying some of my ogg files.

I loaded some 1400 ogg files on it, yet it only recognizes 1024 of them.

I formatted the player, and tried again with another RANDOM sampling of 1400 ogg files, nad again, it only shows 1024 of them when in shuffle mode.

Very, very annoying, and I hope that this can be rectified in the next firmware update.

Other than that, I wish that the headphone output was greater, and that MEIZU was still including the gorgeous lanyard/wrist strap that came with my M6 units... Love that thing!

Does anyone know where I can get/order one?

DaHarder, I noticed in one of your other posts about this problem you mentioned that you had 1400 files in the Music folder. Are they all in the Music folder or in subfolders within the Music folder. The reason i ask is it is not uncommon for firmware to have a limit to the number of files that can be stored in a single folder anything over that number will not be read, perhaps on the M3 the limit is 1024. if this is the problem then splitting them into a couple of folders may help.

Whit DAP units that support UMS, I always create folders 0 through 10 and A through Z, placing all files in their corresponding folder...

So, that's not the solution/problem either.

I'm sure that MEIZU will fix the issue soon, I have absolute faith in them and their products.

With the prices so low, and close together, why would anyone NOT pay the extra few dollars (or whatever) to Double The Capacity?

With the capability to actually view videos, the extra capacity could be put the very good use anyway.

It just seem logical to buy the one that represents the better value... the 4gb.
