WHAT IS SKINCONVERTER
==================

SkinConverter is a small tool to convert skins (resource.bin files) from a specific firmware version to another firmware version.


USAGE
=====

First you need to select the resource.bin file (Source) which you would like to convert.
Then you need to select a resource.bin file (Target) from a different firmware version which is used as a reference to convert the Source resource.bin file.
The SkinConverter program will automatically determine the firmware versions. When both firmware versions are correctly determined, the Convert button becomes enabled.
When you click the Convert button, you will need to specify where you want to new resource.bin file saved and the program will convert the skin.


REMARKS
=======

Usage:
- SkinViewer requires at least .NET Framework 2.0 to function correctly.

About firmware versions:
- Currently the program supports only firmware version 1.010, 1.010.3 (Also European versions), 2.001.X, 2.002.X, 2.003.1 and 2.003.2.
- Some other firmware versions which have the same image structure as those 3 will work also. (eg. 2.000.1 and 1.010.2)

I have just two problems :

1/ The volume bar remain the same
2/ The volume btn also remain the original ones ( there are 3 btn as you knows )

Not so difficult to fix I think for You

It is a necessary programme for every Meizu tuner...thanks a lot ...btw unfortunately this programm doesn´t work with latest FW? Or?

Yes I had to update the program because Meizu made some changes in the image structure.

Error, how come I can't edit my posts? There is no Edit option when I'm logged in.
edit1: it seems i do can edit new posts I create, but not my old ones.
edit2: ok i found out i can only edit posts before 3000 minutes the post was created.

Because I can't edit my posts, i attach the new version in this post temporarly. The new version fixes stuff pointed out by PoUëT and other things, and also support for new firmware version 2.002.1.

Its great, but one thing is missing. The Language is the normal one, after converting. For example if i made german language and then convert, i have only chinese and english. Only the pics converts.

That's wrong.

It take the languages of the OUTPUT firmware.

To convert a 1.010 skin to 2.002.1 :
1/ open your 1.010 resource.bin
2/ open a 2.002.1 resource.bin with languages needed ( french for me )

and you'll get a 2.002.1 skin with your languages

Yes well the problem is that I only take into account the skin itself, not languages and other stuff. This means only the images of the Source resource.bin will be placed in the resource of the Target resource.bin. So like PoUëT said, make sure the necessary languages are in the Target resource.bin, not the Source resource.bin.
