Basically just used the resource editor and change all the simplified chinese terms to english. so just choose the simplified chinese language option and you'll be able to see the normal eng menu with the ability to use chinese .lrc files.
I did this for my TP M6, so not sure if the resource.bin is able to be used on the SP M6s.

awesome
works for me,but how did u edit the resource.bin?
manually copy & paste the menu items ?
there r 3xx items...
i did it again....
why our resource.bin file have a different md5 value?
i checked ur file, it seems u missed some menu items, they r still chinese
the attachment is mine, edited by c&p manually...
my resource.bin is extracted from the sp version 2.001.1 firmware ,but sp tp version have the same resource.bin according to Err0r

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsUse the resource editor which can be found here.
You can change the language in there, just replace the Chinese tradional language with English (you have to manually copy + paste it in to replace it)Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Poststhose that are still in chinese is because they ARE in chinese across the different languages.....unless i really missed something?
Anyway i only did the obvious eng corrections like backgroud and the star -> stars.
Traditional chinese? not my cup of tea...and yes it's tedious. luckily my keyboard has dedicated copy/paste buttons which makes it just a bit more bearable...i estimate it to be around a half hour job.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI reckon you shouldn't waste your time doing a chinese traditional firmware because this is still a beta version - unless of course, you have too much time on your hands

I would probably be the same as you kennyboy.
But HOLD YOUR HORSES! Once the official V2 firmware is out, I shall do a traditional chinese menu edited from english!Meizu M8 MiniOne
