skinconvertor question...

hi guys...

been a proud owner of an m6.. 2 weeks old...ver 2.004.4
looking at the skins and wanting to ty them...most are ver 2.004.5/6
tried installing by adding the resource.bin to the root directory of the m6...but cant seem to get it to install....
then i tried to get back the original skins....by (correct me if i am wrong) by deleting the resource.bin, but got the green screen..
power down the player..and restart after a while..thank god it came back to normal with the default skin...is this the correct way to get back the dafault skin...by deleting the resource.bin..

also tried the skincoverter program...but i cant seem to run it because of missing .NET whatsoever...and fr the post...skinconverter cant covert to ver 2.0003.3 or higher...is tis rite??

pls help.... the skins are driving me crazy...read fr post that 2.004.6 is laggy shit...so sticking to 2.004.4...thank you..

Hi and welcome to the forums! To completely get rid of a skin, you have to "Update" your firmware to what you want it to be with Meizu's original FW, found at en.meizu.com. I am unsure about the skin converter though.

With installing a skin, you'll have to restart the player, by powering it off and on again. Make sure you have the correct firmware for it, 2.004.5 skins work with 2.004.6 skins as well.

EDIT: You should only use 2.004.4 skins if you are unwilling to upgrade.
