Getting Skins to work with firmware S1.010.2

When I bought my miniPlayer it came with a firmware version of S1.010.2 and would not work with any of the skins on this forum. I just downloaded the plain S1.010 firmware and now skins work!

when you open the 1.010.2 resource.bin you can see that image numbers are not the same than in a 1.010 one .

That's why a 1.010.2 firmware cannot read a 1.010 resource.bin

You can use the miniplayer resource editor to export images from a 1.010 resource.bin skin and put them one by one in a 1.010.2 resource.bin to have it working with a 1.010.2 firmware

I am not sure if thats true... I use 1.010.2 and i have no problem with skins or anything... how is that possible?

Well I had 1.010.2 and any skin i tried would not work at all, but when I installed 1.010 any skin I tried would work.

So, exactly how could i Install the skins to my player.

Skins are made for version 1.010 because it is the latest version of firmware that has been released for both SP and TP players.

Besides the skin porblems are there any other diffrences between 1.010.2 and 1.010.?

There are some minor changes for SP only. S1.010 had a few small glitches where the GUI wouldn't display properly.

For instance, it would at times leave one horizontal line of pixels pitch black.
