possible to "hide" display while playing music

I'm looking for pretty much all the text on my player to go away maybe 2 seconds after I last touch the touch pad so that all I can see is my background picture. Then when I fast-forward, rewind, or do anything with the touch pad all the text comes back on the screen so I can see what I'm doing... then it all disappears again. Any suggestions on how I can do this?

I'm not sure what you want, but holding down the M button for a few seconds will turn off your screen.
Oh, I get it. You cannot make only the text to go away.

I guess you could always turn transparency up a bit and change to the visualization screen...
