it seems like tp and sp uses "pinktransparent different.... anyone know how... i am trying to convert tpthemes into spthemes but i get a lot of images that don't work as expected...

so anyone who knows about this??

Edit: @fraxos i don't think that tis particular resource editor is in english... sorry i would like that too...

I am actually interested in the version which allows you to chose the desired language. iversonjack posted one in another thread but his file seems to have problems. I was just wondering if someone else could either upload a working one or at least point to where I can find it.

i downloaded it and it worked... but that program only works for Fw up to 1.007... the other version support the new firmwares... but if you like to try download it from iversonjack's post...

This is the version I am using, it supports English and Chinese. I have no problems with it with 1.009 or 1.010.

eMan, I have an sp and have imported images from tp firmware with no issues. 1.009 & 1.010 seem to have the same image content and once again I have had no problems transfering themes between versions

Many thanks for the file. However, I am getting an error message when I try to use it. In particular it says:

"MiniPlayerResEditorGUI.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

I read that users have been getting the same message so what did you do to make it work?

I did nothing special I just downloaded and started using it. I think it was PlayerFreak123 posted that you need Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your PC.

I have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886903) & Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed so maybe it is to do with that.

Then it is weird. I also have .NET Framework 2.0 and while the Chinese Resource Editor worked just fine, this doesn't. Oh, well I guess I will have to make do with the other version.

seems to be working fine... but there is a problem converting tp into sp... seems to be different numbers... i tried from t1.009 to s1.010... could be the problem... i will try more tommorow.....

eMAN, I can find no image numbering or layout changed in T1.009_RC3, S1.009_RC4, T1.010_RC4 and S1.010_RC4 but i do not know about earlier release candidates. Could also be differences in English\Chinese versions as well.

ok... i have trouble converting tp into sp thou... it only "transfers" a couple of images at the top... then it stops... it doesn't even change the background...

Try changing manually with the program posted in this thread... for posting related to the other version, please use the proper thread

that works thou.... but it take too much time....

it is related to this version... i'm talking about 1.01...

Changing images from TP to SP manually takes about 3 minutes. If that's too long or too hard for you, maybe you should just stick with the original resource.bin.

it isn't too hard... and it takes longer than 3 min... well well.... i have to do it manually then.... and don't insult people that you have no idea what they're know... just becouse you don't like to do things manually doesn't mean you are incompetent.... you might just want to do it the easy way...

I stand by what I say. It takes 3 minutes--I've done it numerous times now. And by no means did I intend on insulting you. I merely repeated your sentiments - that it "takes too much time" -- which could easily be interpreted as being too "long" or too "hard".
