Preview maker 0.12

Hey,,

I made a program to view the skins of the new firmware(s)! ,, its just made in a couple of hours so it doesn't looks great but I'm gonna work on that! for now its just working...

you can made youre own setting,, this means you can say where you want the program to show wich picturen and text and you can save that settings to share them with us..:S like when a new firmware releases you can still use this program to view the skins!

This is how to view skins: extract all image of the firmware with "ResourceEditor 1.0.3.1" and then start 2Preview Maker". click on the left bottom on "open settings" to open a settings file or click on "create new settings" to create a new settings file. then on the top of the program click on browse and open any pictere of youre extracted pictures. and youre done!



This is how to create settings files:extract all image of the firmware with "ResourceEditor 1.0.3.1" and then start Preview Maker. click on new settings file on the right corner of the mean form and click ok and click "First select background to select the extracte background. than you can add a picture by click the picture tab and click on the background where you want to see the pictue of change the cordinates in the right top corner. then you have to say hom much percent you want to see of the picture from right to left (this is for the battery etc...) 100% is all ofcourse.... now click add picture and youre done... to add text its nearly the same but you have to click on the text tab...

you can edit everything in the textbox on the bottom of the settings maker... don't forget to save it and try it sometimes!


I made one settings file so far for the "22.004.3 music screen" I will create some more soon!

It took me a lot of time to made this crap so say at least what you think about it!

New in version 0.11:

-Two new settings files (2.004.3 Calculator and 2.004.3 menu screen)
-Fixed a million of bugs and problems!
-And i added a little code to draw lines all over youre background so its easyer to make a settings file! put that background on the player and you will see exactly where you have to put the picture!

New in version 0.12:
You can now change the font!

Really nice little tool, I especially love the quality of its rendering and the ability to select fonts, thank you.

If you'd take any suggestions, it could be a nice touch to add a listbox it could load all settings files into and you could change between them without needing to browse. (Would also not set the browse window away from the skin pictures directory)

It is a long way back since I was creating this software. I am not sure, maybe I still have the code on my pc at home. I will give it a look somewhere in this week.
