something just hit me... maybe it would be posible to export a preview of the skin... just export the "screens" you've made into a picture with them all... i think that would be a great way of creating previews for our skinners....

It is a very usefull tool for skinning.
I really like the new features, should make my first skin much easier.
Now all I need is graphical talent :eek:

One thing I was thinking about could you bind F5 to reload images? I like hot keys.
Seems that it locks the files now, so I can't save them while having the editor open.

Default skin loaded, very useful, as the fact we now don't need to have all images done !!! 'cause i usually make first the volume bar, the top bar and the Wallpaper before building all the other images.

And now we can see all the menu bars in the last screen, yeah !!
Just one more thing : For skinners it would be useful to put the five menu bars together in the menu screen, so we can show it to have a fully preview of our skin

I also just found this out. This is a nasty little problem that is not so convenient. I have no idea why it happens this way, but ill look into it!

This could be a nice feature, but i think most skinners only make 1 menu bar in stead of the 5 possibles. But i definetely could add it

One thing I noticed: if I set a custom music background, it will use it for menu background as well...I thought they are not the same

Well. It think the M6 puts the last seen background as the menu background. For instance when you last went into the FM tuner screen and back to the menu , the menu background will be that one from the FM tuner screen.
I just made it this way in the program that it uses the music screen background.

I think Meizu might be making it so the menu has a different background, or uses the default background so that it doesn't stay on the last background set until you go to another screen with a different background... at least, plenty of people have wanted that changed for skinning purposes and said so.

Personally, I like seeing the default screen always used when looking at the menu, even if you specify separate backgrounds.

Aww. I mean when i didnt have a meizu i made 2 skins! You shoudlve made this before :P

That's actually what I also prefer. So I did it this way. Redownload 0.63 again to see the change.

I like the way you click on the images to toggle their positions

Still needs the volume image, and the lock image, which I'm looking into now. I also need to check some of the text out for lengths greater than I thought of when I made my templates, like the exact length if you had over 1000 songs, so it showed 1000/1000, instead of 999/999, like I measured for.

Also, Thusti, you need to account for the images that are displayed the same color as the text, though you might already be working on that. Not sure how you'd get that to work, though... The M6 makes everything in the images that aren't that magenta pink color as whatever color you set the text to, so even if you made your text-color image multi-colored, the whole thing would be shown as whatever color you choose for text.

Yep I know this though. I know how to make it work like that, so it will definetely come sometime. But Im having it quite busy right now so dont expect too soon

Heheh. I'm helping him find out the exact positions and stuff, and testing it out. I think of everything the M6 does, and make suggestions that would help out. ^_^

By the way, Thusti, I updated all of the template images, and the 2 rar files with the PS templates and template images. The lock icon now exists. Also, on the radio screen, somehow, Meizu didn't account for this icon position, so either it covers the antenna signal image, or vice versa. It's only by 2 pixels, though they should still fix that up.

I still need to find out the exact length of the song number text, so it can fit 9999/9999, as well as the time numbers so they can fit clear up to 999:59:59 on the bottom left, and -99:59:59 on the bottom right. Oh, and make a template for the music browser screen, since the icons are shown on the right in that screen.

i want to see the lock icon, or is it already in it???

He still needs to add it in using my templates as a guide. The lock icon overlaps the radio antenna image because it's in the same spot on every screen.
