[Software] miniPlayer Resource Editor 1.0

Hi Everyone!

Here is the resource editor to which people have requested.
It is a very simple and straight forward program to edit your miniplayer - you can edit the look and the language settings of your meizu!

Initially, program is in chinese. To change it to english, select from the toolbar at the top, the second one from the right, and change it to english (the bottom). You would need to restart the resource editor in order to have the changed language working.

Just open up a resource file (which is found in the update pack) and start importing/exporting pictures (in *.png). The column on the left describes the item you are changing, and the current settings are shown at right (either a picture of texts). Change the pictures by right-clicking it and "import" a picture in *.png format. To change the texts, just simply enter or copy&paste new texts in!

You can also edit the language, for the needs of everyone (changing the display language of the meizu, from german to chinese and other needed languages). Or you can just simply change the way the meizu is set up! (e.g. changing "music" to "tunes" or something)

You can download the miniplayer resource editor here:

Enjoy! And don't forget to upload your precious skin work onto the firmware section of the forum!

My Meizu
Good news guys, after I installed .NET Framework 1.1 (not 2.0) it works again!

Try it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Also, use the one attached to this post for default language as English.

Err0r,

you are a star! It does indeed work. And, funnily enough, it was all down to Microsoft's software being awkard, again!

download the original resource file here. This is for T1.010 or S1.010.
Just load the resource.bin file.

Another way is to download the different edited resource files here and edit them again!

This doesn't save in png format, it saves as bitmap, in some form of it that Photoshop older than CS2 can not open. As far as I can tell, anything less than CS2 couldn't open it, got from info by a different program doing the same thing, the only info I could find anywhere about this Photoshop problem and bitmap images. Personally, I don't feel much like opening 100+ images in PAINT and re-saving them all in 24 bit PNG to save quality just to be able to use them at all in Photoshop, and I doubt anyone else would either.

I'm building skinning templates to post here, so I need all the images the M6 actually uses.

Just posting this in here, since it works best for THIS resource editor.

After you export all images from this resource editor into it's own directory, you can download this freeware application to convert all the images to whatever format you want all at once very quickly and easily: FastStone Photo Resizer

It had no trouble converting the bitmap format the resource editor uses into PNG images to use in Photoshop or any other program. Alternatively, you can also download an RAR file of the T1.010 numbered PNG images right from my skinning template thread, first post. I'm not sure if the numbering is the same on current versions, or if all the images are the same, but there's a quick way if you have the T1.010 TP version firmware. Check my sig for the link!

Trying to use this resource editor again, except it won't work for me. Any ideas? Got the latest .NET framework installed (version 3).
