skins.

read the FAQ section about skins and it says extract and put in to root folder which is where music and films and the other stuff is.the problem is i dont have a root folder.can i just open a new fol,der and title it ROOT or is there a file missing from my M6 otherwise its working fine.this is really annoying me wheres the ROOT folder

root folder is ... in your language F:\ or just drive letter what your player have affter connect so upload it that drive that full path will be f:\resource.bin or so.

F can be W, or any other letter in alphabet.

i am still non the wiser please explain it easier i aint the most technically minded u know 20 years plus of METALLICA and MOTORHEAD are beggining to take their toll on the old brain cells i will now get my M6.

just drop the ressource.bin file on the icon representing your player on windows, that's it

Thanks people at last got there in the end though.some good looking skins out there.

The ROOT DIRECTORY, not folder, is where you are when you see the MUSIC, SYSTEM, MOVIE, and PICTURE folders.



Oops... guess you got it while I was typing this up.

I like this explanation picture DChronos I think copying the Firmware in the SYSTEM-Folder is the most done misstake:D
