Skin Converter - The application failed to initialize properly

I really want to use Mono V2 but when I place the BIN file in the root of my meizu m6, it gives an error on next startup .. I am assuming the version is wrong for the resource.bin .. so I downloaded SkinConverter .. but when it loads, it alerts "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to termination the application."

I think the skinconverter doesn't take versions prior to 1.009 do you have any idea which version the skin / your player are using ?

edit: hmm the skin is 2.001 : at which precise moment does the Skin Converter crash ?

I'm not sure, but I think that SkinConverter is a .NET framework program. Do you have .NET framework 2.0 or 3.0 installed on your computer? (If you run Vista, then yes by default)

The error occurs immediately after double-clicking the executable .. Perhaps it's that I'm lacking .NET framework .. I'll download and get back with you guys .. Thanks

And thanks for uploading 2.003.2 version of Mono V2 .. I extracted "resource.bin" to the root of my Meizu drive (no other files are there, just resource.bin and folders now) .. After reset, I got "Upgrade Error! Please try again!" and all I see is top white bar and black background (no text) .. Am I doing something wrong?

I installed .NET framework 2.0 and I can now load SkinConverter! Still not able to get the skin installed right. Btw, my firmware is 2.003.2 -- I just got my M6 today :D Anyone know why I can't get skin to work?

Hmm, did you try using the very latest firmware ? 2.003.2b, available here.
