M6 TP, SP and SL skins work interchangebly

There is no need to specify if the skin is made for TP, SP or SL anymore.

TP, SP and SL firmware uses the same resource.bin, with only the actual M6.EBN / M6SL.EBN being the difference.

Can somebody confirm this ?

Just found out about this, going to try out some skins now... :D
Good news, finaly i can try some nice "TP" skins out.. however, why have theme creators both a file for the "SP" and the "TP" if they are the same? =/

Yes i know that, but [b]what is the difference between the two files (for SP and TP), what have they changed to make it "work" for the TP and SP, since you abvious didn't have to change anything.. ?

They didn't know, but now they do and will probably use names like V1.010 instead.

I bet that tortured a couple of skin makers, too bad it doesn't work interchangeably with the different levels. (ie, 1.009-1.010 and so on)

I tried a TP skin on my SP player and the player became un responsive. I had to repeatedly use a DFU tool to get my player back to working condition.

It's probably because you transferred the M6.EBN file as well, failing to do it properly.

TP and SP skins still work interchangeably.

OKEY, I'll include SP and TP M6.EBN from now on, into my skins.

can someone please answer this question instead of repeatedly stating the obvious, we all know that this thread is about SP TP themes being inter changeable but what did they used to change before to differentiate a TP them from an SP theme?
