Green (skin for 2003.2)

Well, after having gotten some help from /\/\@D/\/\@/\/ on changing some parts of the skin, I started to build my own, somewhat minimalist skin.

It's all very simple really. I liked the faux-transparent menu bar, and I have a fondness for the way green looks on my player, so I made a bit of a green thing.

The only things I really changed were the default background, the menu bar and the colors of the time and volume bars. They are now green and red respectively.

The colors look a little weird in my screenshots, I don't really know why that is, perhaps the software I used to make them. That software also explains why there's so much Chinese everywhere. No need to worry, this skin will not do anything to your language settings.

The only thing you should know if you use this, is that I've changed the purple menu bar color to green, and I find the skin looks best if you go into the display menu and set to menu bar color to green.

I'm actually thinking there's something else I want to change.

The symbols that have always bothered me the most were the tiny CDs and MP3 files. They look atrocious to my eye, so... they have to GO!

Also, xx-c, these screenshots are only there because you pointed me to some software that could make them. Thanks for that. It does help that I'm half-literate in Chinese.

nice skin Zaan! my resource editor shows the same symbol for each character... how can i make them to chinese characters? i mean...do i have to download a chinese character pack or something? because i wanted to install them in windows xp but i don't have the install cd with me thanks

There have been 3 versions of 2.003.2 each with a slightly altered image configuration within the resource.bin, try running it through the skin converter with your current resource.bin.

You will find the Skin Converter in the Modifications and Skins section.
