MMS Settings in Registry!

finally I got my first MMS ! - how exiting!!!!
what ever I change, nothing helped...UsrConnectNode, etc.,...
so checked my registry with RegEditor..what do I see??? -still the china settings!
So, just changed them to what i nedd, e voila, I got MMS working!
I send MMS to myself and got it in few seconds!!!!
Now I just need to translate the MMS.exe, cause this is still in chinese saying that you got a MMS :-)

donwnload Mobile Registry Editor, it´s a free tool.....

This makes you thank. I did not thank to check the registry, sure enough it's still in the chinese settings. I have tmobile prepaid but I still could send a picture. I changed the setting the bar went all the way across but it say failed.

I found these settings on the net (T-mobile USA):

APN=wap.voicestream.com
NAME=
PASSWORD=
AGENCY=216.155.165.050
PORT=8080
MMSC=http://mms.MSG.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

Notice my (mmsc) is totally different then:
216.155.174.84/servlets/mms or

http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms.

I changed everything so what should I put for GPRSCONNECT:

I think this is very close. My phone did not like some of the changes but it's not that noticeable to the average person eye so I can live with it.

To Rori:

if you can give more steps live did you restart of do a complete shutdown after the changes etc.

I have downloaded this program and Windows Mobile Device Center, but dont sync with the meizu :S

My bad, for the bad posting, but sometimes you are just in a hurry when doing certain things. Every time you log on this site you may see some information that gets your phone working. Mine is working, but partially.

If i create a new "file" in GRPS option with vodafone settings, i can send mms, but i cant receive and the same thing if i send to other cellphone =( i send, so no one cant receive.
I edit my registry like you rori... but now dont send anything --'

i could understand that it's hard 2 understand as rooki all whats written here on meizume, but pls read all tutorials and a bit in the forums, before askin useless questions.

u have 2 config the settings for ur phone,,,and do not copy and paste!?..also use search and the download area of meizu me first, before u r askin 2 much question..look @ ur providers website

Does it exist another similar software? I can't run this program in Windows 7 64-bit.

You don't need to run the program via your computer.
You can download M8 Sprite version 1.2.2 or newer which includes registry editor. So you can edit the registry on your M8 with your M8

While I'm here. I have not been able to recieve any MMS yet. Not even when I was able to send MMS. I did edit the settings in the registry..

Has anyone but Rori managed to recieve MMS by doing it this way? (Or any other way )

i changed the registry on the same way - but i still can not receive mms. no problem to send. No problem to use internet.
Fw 9.2.7'
I guess the problem is placed somewhere else.
Maybe it will work with the newest firmware.

Hmm, it seems I need two different APN settings for Telia according to a Swedish android forum (APN-inställningar - Swedroid Wiki)

How should I write everything? I've already tried without any progress..
Here's the information needed for my carrier:

Observe that you need two separate APN settings. Just fill in the following, to begin with:

Code:

 Name: Telia online
 APN: online.telia.se
 Port: 8080
 Proxy: 10.254.254.254
 MCC: 240
 MNC: 01
 APN type: default

(Can also work without a proxy, then you get a even better IP number)
Then, create a new 'APN' with the following:

Code:

Name: Telia MMS
 APN: mms.telia.se
 Username: mms
 Password: telia
 MMSC: http://mmss/
 MMS Proxy: 193.209.134.132
 MMS Port: 8080
 MCC: 240
 MNC: 01
 APN type: mms

...just a thing I forgot to mention:
My provider (Orange) gives me this Proxy: 194.024.128.118
But it does not work.
When I use 194.24.128.118, it works
So sometimes, you can´t trust and you have to try things out!!
