Windows mobile App Hacks..
I wasn't sure whether or not to put this thread in the app section, but as it doesnt concern currently working apps, i thought it would be best put here. I hope i'm not saying something that's been said a hundred times here...
For a few years i have used windows mobile, and in my job i get to work a lot with windows Mobile (hereafter referred to as "WM"), Windows CE and other embedded microsoft products.
Now, when i search this forum for info on WM apps translated for CE i get the answer that they are two different OS and i can't work. This is not true, Windows mobile is, and always have been based on CE. Therefore, while some work may be involved it should be possible to make most WM applications work on the meizu M8.
Unfortunatly, in spite of me nagging my boss for more CE work, i mostly only get involved in work concerning development of desktop os, and so i havent been able to learn that much about CE yet.
Besides for it being so darn sexy, the main reason i bought the meizu was to learn Windows CE on a more interesting device than the heavy-duty industrial ones im used to..
So, anyone have any tips, working examples or helpful links please post them here. Getting WM app conversion going smoothly should be a great step for the meizu community.
I apologize for the length of this post, I do tend to go on a bit
