    Creating a Dutch Firmware

I was trying to create a dutch firmware so you can actually select dutch.
I tryed diy-rom tools, Mpack and hypercore kitchen.

Hypercore is just to difficult for me(seems easy, but it is not getting the xip.bin file for some reason so errors keep showing up)

With diy-rom tools i keep getting a ~ in front of almost every name, i am certainly not going to flash any of those firmwares.

And with Mpack i can replace, but when i save the xip.bin and look back over the files, many files are converted from ****.dll (for example kernel.dll or m8backup.mui) to %$@%#$^%&%!@##$#@!$#!$#$#@%%#$%$#%#$%$#, while others just stay the same....

As i wanted to 'convert' the xip.bin file i just want to replace the mui files, anybody experience on this? Because this is a good way to quickly release several firmwares with dutch, german, swedish, italian, spanish etc SELECTABLE. Without having to create a cab, installing and still having some files unable to copy and so they are still left in english

    Help please

Theh, i allready thought i saw a topic suddenly been moved ;-)

I did not try to use the mpack tool yet, so i can not advise about it,
but you could try to dump an original bin first,
rewrite the mui files , then repack and flash..?

I do support your actions, and you could have a look on the russian m8 forum,
they allready made custom xip/firmware packages!
