Anyone tried C# Apps?

Has anyone tried to develop an application in C# for the M8? With normal "windows.forms" ? Without the M8SDK ? Did it work ?

Yep that's working !

I ve connect my M8 via Active Sync and create a project under Visual Studio 2008 (C# - Smart Device) and i ve change the device to "Windows CE Device". The .NET Compact Framework will be deployed the first time you build your solution. You don't need the SDK for doing this.

Just one thing is hard to manage, you will have a little "bug" with the window. She will not fit exactly with the screen and controlq will not be smooth like a C++ application with the SDK.

It results in a ugly XP style window, but you are right, it works! I just uploaded my first program...
