m8 sdk questions

Hi,

i have this one up and running,
config :
win 7 (32bit), vs 2005 , wince 6 embedded, m8 sdk 0.93

could someone inform me, if the emulator can be used with a real firmware?
ive tried, but then it wont load the emu.
It can only be run with original .bin from sdk it seems, what is a real disadvantage, or is it just me?

Could i expect the sdk to emulate real m8 hardware or only software?

And can anyone tell me how to sign a builded app for m8 , or is this not needed?

So, you are going to make some apps, right?

As far as i know it only emulates the software, its mostly for developing applications for the M8.

It is cause i am still looking for a way to sign my tools that will be needed for android, so they run properly

Like you know, without the m8 for the moment i can not check the registry so it needs to follow the ""official"" way till i can test myself.

if it only simulates software it could explain why a leaked xip.bin does not run,
thats a bit pitty ofcourse.

if anyone know how to authenticode please share:-)
