Warning: This will ONLY work with the official 0.9.0.5 firmware! Don't install on any other version, because it can and will cause troubles!

Originally I was planning to wait until the 1.0 firmware comes out before I correct the translations in the English interface, but it seems that's not going to happen anytime soon. Don't expect it to be perfect, because I might have made some grammar mistakes too
So first thing first...unfortunately you have to "install" these files manually, until we find a way to create some kind of installer.

UPDATE: Installer has been uploaded - thanks to AlexNesterov! You have to change the phone's language to Chinese, then restart the phone, and then install the cab file!
Note: If you're having problems installing the CAB, try it via explorer.exe from Windows directory (on your phone). I just realised the Meizu installer is buggy, and won't copy the files to their correct destination. When you did this set the phone's language back to English, restart once again, and enjoy (hopefully)

EXTRA: Application installer is now in English as well! Extract the file to \Device\Windows and choose Overwrite!
If you change the original file and change the phone's language to Chinese this installer will still be in English!

- changed "Add Playlist" to "Create New Playlist" in Music player
- changed "Album Cover" to "Album Art"

- changed "<<More" to "<<Back" in Ebooks
- changed a few things in Emails
- changed "<<Messages" to "<<Back" in SMS, so no more "..."
- changed "Date and Time" to "Date & Time" to avoid words being cut off
- changed "View" to "Slideshow" in Photo viewer
- changed "Calendar" to "Back" In Calendar, so no more "..."

2009. 05. 10.
- changed "Add Other Informations" to "Add Other Information" in the phonebook

2009. 05. 09.
- in the language settings chinese appeared as ????, corrected it to Chinese
- changed icon name on desktop to Recorder (was Record before)
- changed "Calling..." to "Back to Call Screen" while on a call and on the desktop

Strangely the MUI file for the web browser doesn't work...too bad. "Is closed browser?" is really bothering me.

edit: You have to copy the webbrowser.mui to Program Files\WebBrowser

Accidentally gave a wrong name to one of the files, so it doesn't overwrite the original file...PhoneSetCPL.0409.mui instead of PhoneSetCPL.dll.0409.mui...
So, please download again, or rename! Sorry!

you should send this to meizu email support address, maybe new versions of firmware include your corrections by default.
Meizu sucks, so many days and so little improvement in their firmware....

I remember correcting that, so maybe the original file wasn't overwritten. Works fine for me.

I made cab-installer.
but to correct installation you need to switch to the Chinese language, and then restart the phone, and then install cab.

OK, question: Why would I install this over what is already there on the phone.?
I can understand the English MUI, but there is already One present, what should be the compelling reason for this to be installed.

Secondly, would this have to be done everytime there is an upgrade??

Because these are less chinglish, than the default files
Yes, I'll have to do this every time there's an upgrade, because if they implement new functions, the MUI files change too, and that will cause some problems (like translations will pop up at wrong places...)

nice did you post them to the official forum or offered them to meizu?
