Development Kit Problem

Hello Guys.
I wanted to make a App for my Meizu, so I downloaded Visual Express C++. Next Thing I did was downloading this Development Kit Meizu M8 Application Development Wizard - Release: R2.0 Installation Package. But when i start it, it says that I have to install Visual C++ 9.0.

What to do?

lol, that´s funny seems that i thought the same thing as you but 20 minutes earlier:-)

the M8 from codeplex seems not to work with the express serie & the meizu sdk gives error ála "wince debugger not installed".

I was looking how i could dump the sdk files manually under the express serie. Didn´t find it yet, but i noticed that opening templates gave an error that it need to port the files first what sounds obvious since the platform isn´t installed yet.

ps what express serie did you try?
i tried the 2008 version maybe the 2010 beta works with it?

Tried 2008 Version, too. I'm little bit down cause of that . I thought it can not be so difficult to install a shi**y program.

Hope that someone can help us.

Edit:// I'm going to try this one http://msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/eval.../bb633753.aspx. The Version we downloaded are the Express Editions. Maybe the SDK only works with the Prof Editions.

Expression version wouldn't work as VC needs to be CE enabled to do cross compiling.

i allready thought so, reason i was testing it with the express serie is cause if it worked it would be very usefull to me. Then i could download a portable version of it for when i am on the go:-)
