need to find these images

Hi guys..
I'm creating/skinning the M8 UI [FW 9.3.18] and almost finished...hope to upload it here soon.
However there are two images that are eluding me....the default side panel that opens in 'documents' and the blue selection pane.



I have searched through all the '...res.dll' files in Windows with Radialix, but still cant locate them... does anyone know of their location so that I can mod them and apply to the theme?

Help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, but could the images be located in the Windows\FileBrowser.exe ?
I haven't checked it myself, but it would be a very logical place to put them!

yes i think thats right, too

JaffZe... thax so much for pointing me in the right direction.. found all those files in the 'filebrowser.dll' in the Windows directory.... now can really get to work!!

Out if interest... there is both an exe and dll file containing the same images... which one should I modify...only the dll file or both?

I have no idea, but you could try to edit only one of them and check.
Don't start any major projects before you try, only make a noticeable change in one of the files, put it back on the phone and see for yourself!
I think that would be the easiest way

Thnx for that... I'll try the dll file first... the images are definately in there I assume just as for the Res dll files..

After extracting the images, started work on modding the entre filebrowser into something a bit softer and warmer... heres a preview of the icons and interface changes I'm working on..

looks very nice! Try adding a bit of neon to some, it would add some color
