    Doesn't look as refined though.

What's up with all "meizu m7 alternative" talk? There isn't any M7 yet. Other than that, the player looks good.

I agree with DimaMP4. There is no M7 yet, and as far as I know it's not even being developed. So there's really no point for these comparisons: any player could be an alternative.

Anyway, I think the O2 is a little too large for my taste. Also, that menu doesn't look very easy to use, with only one row of icons...

Hopefully, Meizu will work on the M7 after the M8 is sucessfuly released

yeah agreed, the M7 is non-existent. I too am hoping that Meizu develops a nice player perhaps a device similar to the original M7 rendering that will use some of the expertise they surely must have picked up through the development of the M8. Perhaps they will do something like what apple did with the touch and the iphone.

What are we supposed to call it? I think he means, basically, the M8 without a phone function.

I tested Cowon O2 a few days ago. A really nice player. Cowon has the best sound quality, and the screen was very nice. Its only 480x272 on a 4,3" screen, but I think it was enough.

What he means is that the people who want a M7 (Ipod touch) or anything else like it, that it would be an alternative.
