Of course they are (very badly) Photoshopped pics. So far, they've done the same thing with six other players and a small stable of girls, although the T50 is by far the raunchiest.

I have to hand it to whomever came up with the idea of stock photos of models holding air...not to mention the PS-ready strategically unzipped shorts.

lol, dirty banter has placed us a little off topic here, without further ado, lets get back to what the point of this topic is.

Has there been any further firmware updates on this device? I'm still waiting for a more revolutionary firmware release and a few more bug fixes.

New Release of the S:FLO

I do not have this player.. but I have been watching it for a minute. I know that some peole have been getting new ones with the latest version of the firmware and they love it... it fixes some of the previously mentioned bugs. I hear there is supposed to be some fixes released soon for those who bought from the first batch.

I bought a S:Flo 4 GB player and here are my experiences:

First here is a video from the UI:

YouTube - Nationite S:Flo interface demo

After I unpacked it, I first changed the background into the default Teclast background, I like that most.

-The firmware is very picky about mp3 tags. I copied the entire music map from my Meizu M6SL to the S:Flo and the S:Flo has problems with mp3 tags where the Meizu has no problems at all. So I was busy editing some mp3 tags.

-The overall build quality is okay, the player feels solid and everything fits like it should fit.

-The display is a fingerprint magnet, but that is normal with touchscreen devices. Maybe I also will need ot wear white gloves in the future

-The response from the touchscreen is good, but when I compare with my PDA (CECT Hitune T68) the S:Flo is less responsive.

-Sound quality is the same as my Meizu M6, so there is nothing to complain about that. I use Skullcandy Smokin' buds and I have no hiss at all.

-There is a error in the firmware, when I start the S:Flo the startup screen shows "shutting down", when I shut down the S:flo, it shows to right screen. The animation from the startup/shutdown screen is very nice.

**Edit** The startup screen problem is pixed, tnx to Raz***

-A nice feature is how to see the pictures, when you open a picture and you slide your finger from right to left, then the picture slides from the left to the right. However, it seems more logical to me that the sliding is in the same direction as the finger goes.
When you slide your finger from left to right, the picture changes with a nice animation, the picture disappears in the background, changes, sweeps and tilts and than comes back to full display. The zoom function does not seem to work, untill now I only tried it with the standard included samples.

-There is a video sample included (trailer from Ghost Rider) in RMVB, when I play the video the audio is out of sync. I copied the sample to my PC, played it and then the sound is not out of sync. I will try later with another video.

***edit*** I tried with a FLV file that I downloaded from Youtube and than the sound is perfectly in sync.***

-The player came with a nice pouch that reminds me to the pouch that comes with the HTC Touch, very nice!!

-Finally, the sliders for the volume and Fast Forward are too small, there is enough space on the display to make them bigger, it is better to use that space.

-The S:Flo supports album art, I used the Superman software to find the covers. There is no coverflow.

My overall impression from the S:Flo is good, it is a good build quality player. At this moment there are some minor bugs, but once that is sorted out the S:Flo is basicly a iPod Touch Nano, it just needs a fancy crystal box, a announcement from Steve Jobs and a big marketing campaign.

And here are some pictures:
