Looks like nothing special... in what way is this better than the potential M7?
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

nice2know_u... nowadays there are many players like this in the market... like Onda_VX858 of 2'8" screen... there is also touchscreen that works fine like it's Cowon D2 with plenty of features in a not so big screen (2.5").
But what we expect from M7?... in my case I want something similar to M6 / M3 in sound and screen quality and features... but with lots of extras!!!... but this time concerning media (music, pictures and video).
Like it is a big screen (3.5" seems that is planned for M7); good managing of ID3 like in M3/M6, but with more features like is genre/year/others; scrolling lyrics or plain lyrics full screen for singing; statistics; many types of cover art (front, back, inner sleeves); ability to write and display comments on media; search capabilities; full skinnability... to mention some. Output for TV or HiFi equipment. Input for display and record media and digital TV. OTG to send media to other devices. More or less like a portable HiFi equipment with visual abilities personal and mobile, all played in the touchscreen. This is not a PDA it's a powerfull visual media center.
For the rest of technological stuff Meizu is working on M8 that will have all the imaginable techie wannabes...
Please leave M7 for the M4 lovers!!!... those who wants extras in a big touchscreen player.

I forgive you English... I do have a Korean player, dear Korean citizen, and I like very much my Cowon D2... but there is only one problem with your country products... they are too expensive!!!... I'm not go into political or social reason for things to be so but definitively your country follows USA trends of merchandising... which are to spent lots in marketing as much as in investigation and development... result is: a very expensive product.
Talking of my Cowon D2 is really a good product with lots of goodies over my Chinese players... but have the same problems of firmware, support and performance than my Meizu, Teclast or Onda players... only that is also enveloped in a more costly envelope... the things is the difference in quality of some parts is not as big as Cowon is asking for... I have it because I bought the player in a rebate and I'm happy with it.
But definitively my fellow Korean your products are by far more expensive than Chinese, as expensive are USA and Japanese branded... and please don't come to me with this tale of Chinese stealing your technologies... I've see Rockchip devices branded as Korean manufacturer that cost 50% higher than Chinese... the only difference is that Korean has branded them as Samsung, Maxell, LG or any of the well know Korean brands (some of them ex-USA brands).Last edited by DaremoS; 12-26-2007 at 12:03 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHas anyone already mentioned the Teclast T50? I'm definately considering buying one, since the video-review I saw looked promising. The multi touch screen looks nice!

EDIT: Is there a section on this forum where I can discuss if I should buy this player?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThe Teclast designers are so lame... They came up with that slim T50 design a couple of months ago olny to drop it in favor of this crap... They even wrote that they finished T50 design phase and then changed it again. It blow my freakin' mind 'cause it could've been such a nice device.

Is it me, or does the newer design look more of a rip off of an iPod touch now?
