Problem..help plz!

Hi, a couple of days ago I was updating my m6 player with music, nothing out of the ordinary. Later when I try to turn it on nothing happens, I think the battery must be low so plugs in and waits a couple of hours. Afterwards nothing happens, so now I reset the player. And it starts (yeay), but here comes the sad part. It says I have no music on the player and when I plug it in to the computer nothing happens, the "usb-mode" never appers.. So what can I do..? Please help! Something I noticed is that the players seems slower when it starts up resp turns off.

some extra info, the radio is working, I can charge the battery when the player is off. But the usb-mode doesnt work..

Hi, yes I have tried a different usb-cable. I can charge the player, but the usb-mode doesnt work. But where do I find the gui in the menu? Only tried resetting by holding the enter button and tried to format with on and left arrow but didnt happen anything.

it's buried in a sub menu; settings/reset all settings.
it's the one below usb mode which you should also check. there's a setting to sync with windows media player (or another media program) and the usb folder option which is drag and drop to a drive.

i was going to suggest format as a last ditch effort... looks like you've already tried.

try another computer, try detect hardware from control panel, try another usb port.

Hello, and welcome to Meizume. I would suggest you go to Meizu's homepage, and downloading the newest firmware to your player. Try using DFU mode. Hold down the Power and M buttons firmly. Plug your player in (Keep those buttons held). See if your computer recognises it. If you can use it as a removable drive, dump the two firmware files M6.ebn, Resource.bin into the root of your player. Unplug your player. Let go of the two buttons. Restart your player. If this does not work, search for DFU Tools for SL. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your advice but sofare no changes has been made.. When I tried the dfu-mode the player only turned itself off. I have tried a different computer but no change..
is there something else I can do...? hate this f-ing problem!

Found another strange problem! When i tried to record some speech or radio, the player says that the memory is full. But there is no music there when I go to all songs..

More strange things.. I find the music under browser, but I cant play any of it..!

Solved it=), my m6 formats when I turn it on and holds in left arrow, not when I turn it off as it said in the faq.. But it worked and im happy:D Thanks for your advice!
