m6sl startingmake problems

Hi,
First of all, im sorry for my English.

My player (m6sl as i wrote) has a group of darker pixels in the screen, (picture) (sorry for the quality, my sister took my camera for a trip), in the picture it doesn't look annoying, and its little hard to see because of the quality and the brightness, but those pixels are almost grey when the wallpaper is blue (darkdrop), in the store i bought it they told me it will be too expensive to fix it, that i would better buy another player, they say i made it damage but i save on my player.

it also gets hot very fast (backside) when i watch movies or connect it to computer not for long (1min for some songs) and the battery life became shorter (about 12 for flac on 18 volume, now its 8 with same songs, screen off and even lower volume, same earphones).

Do you think fixing my player will cost almost like a new one?
are there any other players with touch pad except i7 m3 and m6?

what would you do if u were i?

by the way, when me and my family going on car i put the player on my pants and theres a sun light on it, on the black side, i remember that i felt those problems after one of the times i went on car, and the temperature here is about 30c, i think that on that time it was about 34c (the player), do u think thats what made those problems?

thanks in advance,
Ori.

if you leave an LCD screen exposed to extreme temperatures or constant sunlight, that may cause damage to your screen. The heat in particular can damage certain components with a low heat tolerance.

I personally don't think its worth your while to fix the m6 as the device itself is relatively cheap compared to other named mp3 players.

The iAudio D2 doesnt have a touchpad but does have a touch screen, it may be worth your while to research into that, alternatively you could invest into another M6.
