Where to get it repaired?

so my week new meizu came in contact with little water and when it did, i turned it on. I heard a HISSING sound and it turned off. Then after drying it and reviving it the TOUCHPAd is unresponsive, i don't know if its unattached, burnt from water when player is on, or etc.

So i guess since the warranty is voided and i cant return, how do i repair it,
do you guys recommend me open it up (im 17 and clueless) or send it to meizu (how much is the cost for repairs/shipping to china???). This player only cost 53 dollars so i hope the repairs don't amount to nearly as much This was my birthday present and now its gone!!

53 dollars is a bargain.
If you do send it to China, I am interested to know about your experience, cost, time it takes to get it back, etc.
Sorry your player died.

Shipping, parts will likely be more than $53, do you have a 1GB player?

well it actually costs 100$ for a 4gb daneelec meizu sl, but there is a 47$ rebate...
@aquatint thanks but im probably not going to send it to china, especially if it costs over 53 $. when i go to china, i think i could get it fixed there???

its not really "dead" anymore, I seems like i kind of works now, except the touchpad is still glitchy/ messed up.
