A few questions on M6SL

Hey all,

I'm new here and to Meizu. I recently purchased a black M6SL miniplayer (haven't done any FW updates yet as I'm not too familiar with them) and have just a few problems/queries about it.

Firstly when I just select something random to play like an album is there any way to see some sort of "now playing list" like in something like WMP on a PC, so I don't have to flick through all the menus and find the album every time I want to go to a different song (or just use the left, right buttons until I get to it). I'm assuming that maybe if you want this you must make playlists for all the songs you play.

Assuming you do have to make playlists that brings me to my 2nd problem.
I made quite a big playlist the other day (a few hundred songs). And when I went into the playlist and clicked on the first song to start playing, it took literally about a couple of minutes before it started to play the first song, and every song I selected in the playlist it would take about the same time before it responded and changed to that song. It seems that the longer the playlist is the longer it takes for the Meizu to respond.

Thirdly a minor thing, when changing the volume using the sliding touch pad (whatever you call it). Sometimes if I press it wrong (I usually have the Meizu in my pocket and try and change the volume in there :P) the volume goes instantly to full volume. I think it's when I hit the very top of the scroll bar (near the M button). Anyone else had this problem.

Sorry for the long post and any questions here that have already been answered, but I have very slow internet at the moment and although I have read a lot of threads prob have missed a lot too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
vanderlan

Hi vanderlan, welcome to meizume. Next time please use the search function in the menu, and read some topics before you creating a new one, because all your questions/problems are covered in different threads. Thank you.

By the way, you can limit the max volume in Music > Sound Effects > Restrict Volume, so when you accidentally slide the volume up, your head won't explode

Or you can use the hold function. As for the playlists, that's just how they are, if you like you can use the program in my signature to create them easier.

It seems after my limited amount of reading topics. I don't have a lot of time to read these forums and when I do my internet speed is a 1/4 of the speed of dial up.

But it seems to me that everyone has this problem not just me and that it is just one of those many bugs that came with the player. Also I assume there has only been 1 or so FW update which was fairly minor. I read the recent one and it didn't seem like any major updates have been done. So is this just one of those learn to live with until fixed (if it ever will be)?

Oh and thanks nice2know_u for that restrict volume trick, that's quite handy

Hitting the menu key while in Now Playing will get you to the current song being played and you can browse the album from there. This only works if you haven't browsed through any other menus since you started playing that song.

Ya I figured that out but it's still annoying that it only works if you haven't touched it. And that playlist lag is going to annoy me until they fix it. The M6 is a great little player but still a lot of bugs in it
