Meizu won't play--again!

I posted this before and got some good responses, but for some reason, it seems the problem is back. I've loaded 15 songs on the player, from Napster, and it only plays 3 of the songs. I've changed the settings from MSC to MTP and even reloaded the songs, but it's still only playing 3 of 15.

For about 3 days, the player was playing all 15 of the songs and then all of a sudden it decided it only wanted to play 3 of them.

I should add that I have the SP version of the M6.

Any help? thanks!

Man, i wish people would stop using shitty encoders. All my music is downloaded via DC++ and P2P, if i wanna buy it i go buy a CD and rip it.

Through all my music there's only one file that doesn't play on the M6 (it does play on my SigmaTel-based player though). But that song is encoded like crap anyway, so it's not a pleasure listening to it.

I don't know why a lot of people use bad encoders. Blade sucks. Xing sucks even more.

While LAME is nice, open-source and compatible with everything. More than that, you can get the Fraunhofer encoder DLL for free (legally). The Fraunhofer encoder at 192kbps sounds the same as any other encoder at 320kbps. That's no wonder though, since the people over at Fraunhofer Institute developed the MP3 format.

Solution? If you wanna pay for music, go buy CDs and rip/encode them yourself with one of the encoders mentioned above. If not, in P2P we trust! :D Shareaza would be my client of choice.

He says that when you download music, you'd better re-encode it through a - QUALITY - program of your choice and do its tags. The music you download may be encoded wrongly by not-so-good programs, which may result in a less quality decoder without much error corrections - possibly like Meziu's mp3 decoder fail at decoding them.
I personally use Nero cuz I write CDs/DVDs anyway, and both of its latest encoders so far seemed quality. I use Tag&Rename for tagging music (adding artist/title etc info) for its multiple supported formats.

There are also freeware alternatives to those, you need only to do a search on google, however read after the program(s) you download first, they might be adware run or whatever, so best go for open source or clearly commercial software.

Hope I've helped, cheers.

Or better, download it from another source. Preferably for free. That's why i mentioned P2P (peer-to-peer) networks. Shareaza FTW! :D
