Question on 2 different players...

Hey, I was thinking about buying an 8GB Dane-Elec Meizu M6 from Walgreens for $180, but was noticing the 30GB Creative Zen Vision:M for $200 at Wal-Mart. I like the look and size of the M6 but besides that, how is it better than the Creative Zen Vision:M? I also noticed that the interface on both these players are similar and they both have many of the same features (hopefully Meizu will add more?), but the Zen supports more video formats. Is it possible to change/add skins for the Zen Vision:M, and does it have a community creating things like this? Also, is there something I don't know about the hard drive in the Zen Vision:M? Like is it easy to damage if accidentally dropped? And can I just drag and drop MP3, WMA, etc. songs in the Zen Vision:M? None of that iTunes BS right?

The creative zen M is a good player and so is the Meizu. There are "themes" built in with the Zen, but only 6. You cannot make skins for the Zen. You can make and use skins on the Meizu M6. In terms of size, the M6 has the advantage. It is the size of a credit card and about half as thin as the Zen M. The battery life of the Meizu is 20-25 hours on a full charge (I get around 21) and 5 hours for video vs 14 hour life 4 hour video for the Zen vision M. Both have Drag and Drop songs also. Meizu is releasing new firmware to add features and fix any bugs in the player which is nice (they added moving EQ and Album Art in the latest release). If you need more space (30GB) then go with the Zen, but IMO 8GB is plenty of space for videos and all of your songs.

I totally forgot about the battery life...but the skins for the Meizu M6 I actually already got, the software to start editing too, and downloaded a few skins others made from here. I had already planned to buy the M6 before I saw the Zen M. Now I'm more sure I will buy the M6, would my local Walgreens have it in the store or would/could I order it to be delivered in store?

I have never seen a Walgreens carrying mp3 players, so I would just order off the site. You could ask them for it to be delivered in store, but I don't know if the can/will do that, but it is worth a try.

Miniplayer is flash memory while the vision M is harddisk memory, harddisk are a lot more prone to failure if shocked or dropped.

Dane-Elec are distributors. They do not retail neither do they use eBay.
