I am actually disappointed with this to be honest. As I wrote in the other thread that was actually posted with the real pictures before this one was, I don't like how Meizu have reverted back to the Iclone design. I liked the 3 button and 3-hole ear hole. It was nice and made itself different. This just looks lazy and is a bit of a let down.
Anyway this is what I said on the other thread:

Traps that's what I was referring to, the physical design. I don't like the screen shot with the vinyl in the background and think the iphone one actually looks nicer ha ha. I will wait and see if the rest of the UI is nice. I am actually hoping this is not the real thing but if it is I hope that the test versions are not the finished product and the design will go back to the 3 button and 3-hole ear hole design.

Also one last thing off topic. jkpwnster can you god damn well quit trying to up your focking post count and just post everything in one post. In the space of 2 minutes you have 3 successive posts which could have been done in one, especially as you typed them so close together in relation to timeframe, or simply edit your post to add in what you left out.
RETARD. . .
EDIT AT ABOVE:
Yeah I share about the 'physical' design basically being apples with an M on it instead, I just am not liking the GUI at the moment, I really don't like the vinyl and colouring. I am hoping it grows on me, and as said before I hope this is not final and just given to the testers so they can test what the software is like and the real physical design is still the one I like.

Wow, DusL... can you please remove your head from Steve Job's ass. I don't think you could get it any further. If the M8 rips off any GUI, it is the GUI of the older Palm. But then Apple would be copying it as well. You do know that Apple isn't the only one to have a GUI like this, don't you?
@tails2
There's no reason to call him a retard.

Unfortunately steve, i'm simply calling 'a spade, a spade'. Or in this case a retard, a retard. Sometimes the truth hurts ha ha.
On another note, Steve what do you think about the GUI shot? Do you like it? Are there any points you are not too fond of about it? Some aspects are okay but I am not feeling it too well at the moment. It's was too blue or something. Traps made a perfect comment about it earlier:

IMO, it even ends up on the losing end in that side by side comparison of the M8 and iPhone music players. Why all that blue??

Also, I think they should keep the menu colours consistent across the whole UI, which is not really the case comparing to the previous screens.
Anyway, I'm not really bashing the UI.. it certainly looks pretty nice. I'm just afraid of the direction in which it seems to be going, because I prefer softer colours that look less like traffic lights

Do you think that the theme will be changeable? I think that the GUI looks pretty good. I don't really have a problem with the blue. I loved the GUI shots that they had before (like the charging screen), and I hope they don't change those.

I don't know if it will be changeable, hopefully it will as there are some very good theme makers out there.
The screens from eico before are awesome, its just this one seems a bit out of place compared to those. Like its from a different theme or something. You can see the battery meter is the same though so it's the same. Hopefully its just the camera that makes it look bad.

i strongly disagree with the suggestion that the M6 looked like the Ipod. The screen was the same size as the 5G Ipod, but it was more compact, the backgrounds were customizable, and the button system was nothing like the Ipod's wheel system. That's what convinced me to get one.
The M3 on the other hand was pretty much a direct ripoff of the 2G Nano in form factor (but the button setup was like the M6). I'll admit that.
I too wish that Meizu had stuck with the old 3 button design for the M8, but at this stage, I'm just glad to have some news, any news on a possible release. My big question at this point is:
Will the GUI be customizable? It does run on Windows Mobile, and considering the amount of programmers out there, would people be interested in creating themes and skins for a 3.5" screen Windows Mobile Phone? I was recently tempted to get a Cowon D2 due to its inclusion of a SD slot (not MicroSD, so cards would be cheaper and higher-capacity), but more importantly, the newest firmware allows it to implement Flash-based themes. Could something similar be implemented on the M8? If so, then that would pretty much seal the deal for me. I would buy one the first day it came out.
here's a link to the available themes on the Cowon D2, for those interested.

Yes, but you left out my input. No one's forcing you to like me, but I would like you to acknowledge that I had some input towards that as well... So I will include it:
