At $199 for the 8gb and $299 for the 16gb white or black (WORLDWIDE Price)this will make it harder for alot of folks to wait. I still really want the M8 and will wait (well with my new phone) until the M8 is released and with make my mind up them.
I still have hopes for the M8, but everyone is catching up as Samsung has many of the same describe features as the M8 on its new 900 series phone such as the 5mp camera and other items.
Again the "I" has not made many new friends worldwide in the business arena.

Need to lower the price or more space

What they need to do is make the 16gb 250 ro 200 in order to do good or they need to add a small hard driver or more space like 32gb ? Thats the only way they can do good.

For me, it killed any chance of getting the m8. At $199 and I'm already an AT&T customer with my contract running out the beginning of August. Forget about it. Thanks for taking forever Meizu. I'm gonna be takin my new iPhone instead.

Lamest comment ever...
They already decreased the price from $399 to $199 for the 8gb version which is more advanced than the first gen iPhone. If you're not able to afford a 16 gb version, then don't buy it, for additional $100 you can get twice the capacity and IMHO it's a very good deal. The only thing that Apple has to do to generate incom is to actually release it's products because there will always be people who will buy their stuff.

M8 Will Not Survive!

Yes, m8 will loose this one...
They have taken to long to come out with the m8 while other companies came out with phones of their own in 1/3 the time...

The new iPhone has more features, better software, and a larger support base now... including large grants to support and fill up the new App store...

If the m8 would have came out Q1 of this year, they would have had a chance... I forsee the m8 now being a thing of the past unless they come up with something new and better.

The new iPhone will have 3g and native gps support...

Like I said awhile back, the m8 could have been just hype this whole time... and nothing more...

If Meizu ever comes out with anything, I'll have to see it to believe it...

A phone like this with over 1 year in the making is obsurd... Even nokia can do something faster...

Seems like a damn good deal for current AT&T customers. For the rest of us, the m8 still might be a good alternative as hacks to unlock the new iphone for other providers will lag behind the release, and unlocked/non-contract phones will have a greatly inflated prices online or wherever you're lucky to find them (just like the earlier months of the original iPhone release).
