Waiting did not cost anyone anything so far. Not buying other brands and waiting for M8 is just a choice and we still can do whatever we want to do while waiting. It is not that hard, as M8 won't be anyone's first cellphone in their lives.

BTW what are those words you tried to write?

No. If I understand it correctly, the test version will have a 65k colours screen. The final one will have a 16M colours screen. If you want, you can upgrade it to the 16M final one when available.

So what phone do you suggest me to buy then? It would be hard to get a phone with these specs for a decent price.

"(you can upgrade from meizu when they have access to 16gb memory for 380rmb/$50-60 USD)"
Doesn't that mean you can upgrade to 16GB?

lol, 2.8 " screen, almost too small for it's res. there are more specs that are worse on diamond and the most important thing, the price, is really high on the diamong.

The price of an unlocked HTC diamond, which only comes with 4GB built-in, is expected to be withing the range of USD 700-750. while it may be a good choice for European markets where phones like the NOkia N95 are offered free with a contract, it's not feasible for American markets, which are very backward in comparison. The Meizu M8, regardless of the delays, is still more appealing, as they have firmly set their sights on topping the Iphone, while HTC, as a significantly more diversified manufacturer of cell phones, has other strategic priorities.

In france you have internet sites for mass orders. On my side, the price is dropping by the day. The latest is 470 euros delivered for the touch diamond.
Now every one can make his choice. Buy a phone or wait for who knows how long.
Face it, we have no real info about anything on the M8.
Now, before any one comes bashing at me, I am just giving my opinion.
I have been waiting and have being defending meizu in front of every one but too much is too much.
There even is this cpu change thing. Damn, nothing seems to be set!!!
