M8's Samsung S3C6410 processor info

Seeing as it has been a bit quiet around here lately I thought I would check out some info about the processor the M8 will be using. Not a lot of new information but the processor looks amazing all the same, got some great capabilities including simultaneous video encoding and decoding. For anyone who is interested you can check the official specs here >>

SAMSUNG's Digital World

I suspect the second gen iphones will be using this processor too.

Don't worry, he still has 6 days left to keep to his promise you know . Or they're having a delay in releasing the...err...delayed final gui design on the delayed final prototype of the one-year delayed m8...... Not to mention he's failed to keep to yet another promise.

Just too much humor if we don't see a video soon!

I didn't know that the Meizu was supposed to be here in April of 2007.

I fail to see the humor there...

Meizu is a company who strives for quality in a market flooded with low cost products. They have already proven themselves in the past with our beloved M6 (I assume that's why you're here right?), and now they risk their own existence to bring a much more complex product into market.

JW is a very special CEO, who likes to communicate with his fans and reveals quite a bit of information about product development. Delays and development plans being postponed may look like "failed promises", but they happen with all other companies out there - we just don't hear about it. Personally, even if often disappointing, I think it's much more interesting this way.

But now I need to ask... why do you see M8's development bumps/problems as humorous? It's just as if you're rooting for Meizu to fail.

Humour is my post was that everyone is waiting for the light of an everexpanding tunnel. In which each stepping stone of development is simply moving away from us as we come closer.

The fact that they're "risking their own existence" is something they chose for themselves, I can't find any positive or negative value attached to that. Any product-selling company is in it to make profit, Apple or Meizu, that's basic economics.

"Delays and development plans being postponed may look like "failed promises"..." -> well that's because it is, other companies don't make most of these promises and create hope/expectations so they don't disappoint people when dealing with delays. The whole point is that we don't hear about it -> no broken promises.

Whether I'm rooting for Meizu to fail? Why would I do that, there's no benefit for me at all if I would. I just don't agree when fanboys are blowing up all the flaws of Apple products when Meizu can't seem to deliver themselves. Whether they fail or succeed is not up to me, but let's just say that the odds are getting worse with each passing month.

@DusL:
There's no ever-expanding tunnel. There's just a company that is open about a product's development process. That has been backfiring on them and causing disappointment amongst fans, but it was probably the only way to create the necessary hype to make the project viable.

I agree that there's probably no benefit for you in rooting against Meizu, but that's the feeling I get from your posts... sorry if I'm wrong.
For me, as well as many others, there's one good reason to root for Meizu: I own a Meizu M6 and want it's manufacturer to stay healthy, since I never know when I might need to get customer support.

Anyway, why the talk about Apple all of a sudden? Please, don't derail an interesting M8 thread with the same old discussion..
(sorry, but I'm not going to reply to you any more. I see where this is going already)
