Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have noticed that the lag is a lot less then before. It can't be fully lag-free. Did you know how long it took for browser mode to play a song? After you select a song, it used to make you wait around 3 to 4 seconds before playing. Now it is around 0.5 to 1 second wait. Pretty good.

Doubt it's an offical version, or? I'll stick to the V2.001.1, untill they release the final version or when the OTG-support is included.
I just upgraded to V2.001.1 yesterday from V1.010.1 i think, so i had to "fix" everything again that erases when the player completely clean itselfs.
And I don't feel like doing it again ;P.
Thx anyway Err0r.miniPlayer SP 4GB | d-JAYS

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI notice that the startup response is even slower with the latest firmware (v2.002). I need to hold the power button for even longer than I had to with the v1.010 firmware. Anyone else notice this?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsactually, you only need to press the power button until after the white flash disappears. once you let go, after a second or two, the "...Loading" screen will appear and the player will startup as normal. someone else already took note of this from the prior fw so i'm just repeating what he/she said.

This firmware is pretty stable for me. The only quirks i have with the 2000 series firmware is the visualisation. I really wish theyd just put it in the "now playing" screen somewhere. It doesn't have to be a 10band eq meter, they could just have a 2-bar VU meter.
But, other than that, beggars cant be choosers. Lets see what Meizu has in stock for us in the future.Current Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

um. compared to other players such as ipod and zen and sansa is it more new and buggy? is this a problem. i dont want a half finsiehd player but i do like thr idea that they improve it often..

however, i tested it again and found that the lag is about 3-4 seconds on my m6. i'm not sure why mine is so laggy.
