Meizu Me to be discontinued

I deeply regret having to inform everyone that Meizu Me will be discontinued as of April 30th 2009. This huge decision is based on months of thorough discussion among the site staff.

During these past two years, Meizu have not released any product internationally. Instead, with the China-only release of Meizu M8 and no real international release in sight, an international community for Meizu fans makes less and less sense.

To members: Please backup your private messages and any postings that you would like to keep for archiving purposes.

Thanks to all of you for making the past three years worthwhile.

it was fun while it lasted... i had fun watching this phone grow... too bad it was the most disappointing phone for someone who lives here is the US

too bad meizu is only concerned with china market... there is no windows based phone that can challenge the iphone like the M8 does/can...

if only meizu had the capital and marketing capabilities of Apple, HTC, Nokia, etc. it would truly have a winner in my opinion.

Wish they expanded to US territory because most of us hate Apple products... and they would def get some help with making a stable firmware for english and software development.

Indeed this forum is too much for a company which have only one player in production: M8... which for one side is of no importance for non rich people. and by the other side of no importance for audiophiles.

I think that they are still producing M6SL... but the mean engineer of Mr. Weon have absolutely no interest in solve some bugs that still are alive in this lovely player (now I've added a M6SL to my collection of players)

And finally lots of members have leave the forum bored of discussion about cell phones.
