8GB M6 on March 1st, Meizu M3 Release Shaky

It is no longer certain that that Meizu M3 Music Card can or will be released on March 1, 2007. There is no new date set but expected release is still in March.

On the other hand, the 8GB Meizu M6 Mini Player will with all likelihood be released according to previous schedule.

Sweeeet !
Let's hope they fix a few things in the firmware in the mean time.
Personally I don't really need 8GB, but I hope this version will bring us even more Meizu fans

I was going to get an 8GB M6 and sell my 4GB M6, but since it got a bit dented, I'm not sure on the likelihood of that.

It will cost around $ 200 and not feature line-out functionality.

What's the difference between line-out and 3.5mm audioport?
I had line-out on my last mp3-player and it had exact the same functionality as the 3.5mm port...

Line out is a fixed output level higher than normal volume levels, about the same as if you put the volume to maximum.

Using line out in a DAP is used for amps. The line out bypasses the DAP's internal system, meaning that whatever comes out of line out is not processed by the DAP. As a result, using a high quality amp, you get sound quality that is much more better than using the iPod through its headphone out.

Back on topic, will the prices for the M6 4GB also drop when March 1st comes? $200 for the M6 8GB is a bit beyond my budget, and is one reason why I'm waiting for the M3. I hope the M3 8GB stays $110, according to the old news.

take into account that such price (if it becomes real) is for the chinese market and we`ll have to pay a bit more for it. Im for $175 M3 shipped.... i really hope so :D

I think a line IN would be more useful than an output since you can already simulate a line out by turning up the volume :P

I think you misunderstood. A line-out bypasses the player's dsp audio processing hardware but a headphone jack does not, therefore they are not the same thing. So basically the headphone out will have all your eq type adjustments but the line-out will remain "clean" at all times. Most line-outs on portable players are 3.5mm

The retail price for 8GB in China will be less then $170, no more 1GB.
