    Yet Another Firmware Upgrade

Today Meizu released a new firmware for their M6 players, version 2.001.1. This firmware features small fixes and improvements from the last.

Once again, it is not known whether this is the final release, but unexperienced users are officially advised to wait for a new version before upgrading. More info and download.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

    green screen?????????????

I didn't get a green screen, it didn't even format the player!

Anyway, I found this version much smoother

Meizu, if your reading this, you've done a really good job in the past few weeks!

So, can someone please list the pros and cons of the new firmware? I'm still using the old firmware and wouldn't mind changing if the new firmware seems stable/bug-free enough to use.
Does anyone know if there is going to be another firmware release anytime soon?

In my opinion the latest firmware has to many bugs to consider it. I tried it 2.001.1 and was disappointed - start time was much longer, it did not resume on last played song, it refreshed music library every time I turned on device. These are the most annoying things that made me downgrade to 1.10 firmware.

I haven't had any problems with the new firmware. Album art works great following the guide here. I never look at the Equilzer. The increased battery life is wonderful. It resumes playing where I left off when I power it down and back up. But the best part of it is, I no longer get the funny right hand screen error I used to get once in a while. At least I haven't gotten it yet. =T

What annoys me is that the damn thing turns off completely and doesnt go into a standby mode for quick usage.

The 10 or so seconds wait is very annoying.

If anyone can tell me how to get it to go into a standby mode like the Samsung Z5 is capable of then please tell me.

    Thanks.

Ok, my first gripe about this firmware is how it prolonged start up boot time. =[
