Meizu Mini One M8 Working Prototype Ready?

Meizu recently held a conference on their upcoming mobile phone Meizu Mini One M8 for larger distributors in China.

According to one of the attending agents, the agents were shown a "real" Mini One. However, he also mentioned that they weren't allowed to "contact" the OS of M8. Therefore, it is still unclear whether they were shown a working prototype or merely the dummy unit.

He also reported that there are people from Microsoft, Samsung, COWON and a Motorola design agency working on the M8 Mini One.

Thanks Da_Vinci and davilido!

The GPS and the game controller are very interesting indeed :D
GPS would be great, but I think they mean the M8 + GPS extention with that.
TV out is nice of course, what does the keyboard mean?

I wanna see the real deal too dammit, pictures!

this is actually great news. It has gone a little way to re-instating my faith in Meizu. Particularly knowing that cowon engineers are on board. They have Great skill in both creating extended battery life devices (D2=52hrs) and advanced Win CE programing (Cowon Q5). Also microsoft and samsung too. If I were to assemble a team then these would difinitely be on the list of companies to involve. Meizu might just pull it off...........

Maybe you can plug an USB keyboard to the M8 ... would be nice.

Or they simply mean that you have a whole keyboard on the screen instead of the 1=abc 2=def 3=efg ...

if it's gonna have DMB, perhaps they will put DVB-T in too, for the euro release. If it does it will be unbeliavable.

realy nice, i think the keyboard means that u can connect any usb hardaware, a keyboard a printer, it says USB-Host, i think it is like a pc usb.
in the pic M8 have to audio line in so you could connect your guitar and rec music.
I think M8 will be the first real pocketPC not only a PDA phone, it will be a small PC.

yeah we could see a massive price hike up but......at the moment the 16gb is listed at $420 I believe. I will easily pay up to $500 and perhaps even more if it works well. I am the Uk though. That is still less than any high end nokia or sony ericsson model and has more functionality and a bigger screen. Plus all the codec support.
