Due to the nature of the current 2.004 firmware, novice users are advised to not upgrade but wait for the final version.

Brilliant, I love the way it increases the text size when the menu bar is over your selection, my eye sight is not what it used to be and this is a major plus for me.

The return option is also great but when browsing through the pictures and you want to exit you press the 'M' button as normal then you have the return option, tapping on it does not exit, you have to press the 'M' button again, no problem but slightly confusing the first time round.

The rewind '<<' and '>>' keys no longer take you to the top, middle and bottom of the menu, I really needed that NOT.

Not a lot in this release but still worth the upgrade, my M6 just gets better and better.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

That function that it increases the size of the text sounds really cool, is it a good stable version? And does someone know if he formats when you upgrade from 2.003 to this version?

It formats so you will need to back everything up.

Can't find anyway to turn off the highlighted text.

This 2.004.2 firmware doesn't solve the problem of 1792 files.
Even with 1722 files, you must use 'Menu' 'Artists' to play all your musics. Because if you use 'Menu' 'Browser', you can't access to all your albums.

Nothing has changed...

*.APE and *.WMA Lossless do not function.

Maybe your encoding is wrong, sas-seb. There has been a lot of confirmations that APE is working (from the Meizu BBS).

I think not. I use Monkey APE with ExtraHigh compression.

But it is not important for me by the way I use WMA Lossless codec (with last firmware version 2.003.5).
