There's way more resources on the web for Win based pocket devices than there is for the iPhone.

Lets stick to the facts shall we?
Non removable battery gives thinner device, and in fact the iPhone battery is removable just not INTENDED to be by the consumer, there are now 3rd party batteries hitting the market:

And as for how much Apple charges it is NOT OVER $100 but UNDER $100 and to be EXACT it is $79 plus $6.95 shipping:

Why insist on making FALSE STATEMENTS when the FACTS are just a GOOGLE search away!??

Aside from the external looks and design the iPhone and Meizu M8 have nothing in common really, for good and for bad!

Sorry, for some reason I thought it was $100. I guess I was only $15 off. Yes you can get that kit, but that voids your warranty when you open it. And who wants to change out the battery when your other battery is dead when you can just take one out and pop the other one in like the M8? Yes it does make it thinner, but not by much. I think most people would prefer a traditional removable battery and have it a little bit thicker.

Sure, you can get a third party battery with faulty cells that will overheat and rarely even explode.

Well if you want a 3rd party battery you can have it for $20.

The non traditional removable battery hasn't made the iPods less popular, they are still the most popular and well known MP3 player nevertheless.

Trust me it is more convinient to not have to carry multiple batteries, the iPhone is in fact with such battery time that you really don't need a 2nd battery.

Like I have said over and over again you get what you pay for

BTW those batteries that have overheated and exploded recently have all been OEM batteries!

Note this is a $70 rise with the front camera removed, and battery reduced to 1400mAh(berofe 1500mAh).so it is even more expensive than before.
