Shookie, I tried that and it didn't work. I spent about two hours trying, and I hung my M6 once.
IMHO, it should be as seamless and painless as possible.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLOL in that thread that Madman found, it said this:
Which means "the foreigners must have seen a thread about OTG previously, and took it for real".我估计是外国人看了前阵子论坛那个OTG的帖子还当真就把它抄过去的
This was said by one of those special admins, which has the same avatar and 'awards' in that forum as J.Wong, the CEO of Meizu. So I am a bit worried about the OTG functions...
Other then that, WOOT my name appeared on the Meizu BBS forum :D lol (i did not put it there btw).Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHeh, yeah, I looked at that and was thinking "Hell, yeah, I'M gonna set my timer to go off after 420 hours... about 400 hours longer than the player would keep a charge. :P
YOU... get this download (in the thread in the link) and listen, and realize there's no reason for this not to be fixed. OK? Listen to them all, as well as the originals. They need to fix the mp3 playing code, and that's it.
Read the stuff in the thread, too, so you understand what the files are about.
Enough already
As the post says, skip to the part labeled SOUND BUGS to read about what each file is about. Read and listen to them as you read.
To others: Sorry I haven't been around keeping up with my thread for skins and stuff. I've been very busy with a lot of things (building a website, getting myself into college, and mostly, work), but I've still got that on the back burner, to create a gallery type page for them all... just can't tell when yet. Good news is I've learned a bunch of new html techniques to make a better page with, but I'm still practicing these on my own page I'm building.
EDIT: By the way, guys, the M6 is now at Newegg, and this site is mentioned there. Nice.Last edited by DChronos; 07-19-2007 at 10:38 PM.

Answering the question, with all due respect..
First: because it's wrong. It's not an "annoyance", a buggy feature most people don't use or some "missing" feature that would be useful to a few. It's a bug in the audio playback -- the primary feature of the player.
Second: you must recognize that not everyone will have this problem with "some" songs. I have more than a hundred live albums and DJ sets that I would like a lot to listen on my M6. Unfortunately, though, those annoying "hiccups" keep me from doing that.
Don't take me wrong. I agree with almost everything you wrote: it sounds great (actually, it sounds excellent), looks great (sure, build quality and looks are great), has big capacity (fully agreed again), but the playback bugs should not be overlooked.

Unregistered :
Had mine for 14 months and it has only ever frozen once with a wrongly encoded video and for the literate user reset info is as close as the manual.it crashes about ten times in one day
Although the firmware is not perfect it will never be completely IDIOT PROOF.
Perhaps you should start with a less complicated model like this one:

It's only $10.00 from Fisher Price, oh but wait it may be made in China as well.

in fact, wrong encoded videos were the only incidence I have experienced yet where it crashes.
Oh wait .. and something in the photo folder that had to do with possibly too large or not supported pictures.
But no problems since I care better for the supported specifications. I would never call this firmware or this device a total crap. Lots of things could be improved, but what we have now is already very nice and works.BatMan, the free video converter for Meizu players. Problems ? English First Aid here. Deutsche Erste Hilfe hier.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMost of the time I have no problems with my M6, but I've experienced the player crashing every time it finishes playing a music. All of my music files are in vbr mp3 format so I cannot confirm if it is the same problem that others have experienced.

I'm not sure it's less complicated than the M6. The screen isn't so bright as the LCD screen on M6 and the interface is a bit tacky. Navigation is weird (no matter what you do, it seems to go nowhere), but it has tactile controls (a scrollwheel?). It's somewhat big when compared to the M6 (not as pocketable), and has that "toy-like" feel to it.

The only problem I have had with my M6, and I mean the ONLY problem, has been with video/audio synching, but even then i know it will probably just require the patience to look through a few threads here to see what works best. As an MP3 player, and photo viewer, I have had zero issues. I am almost a little apprehensive about upgrading the firmware in case it ruins my fun!
