That's marketing ... a little torture for Apple and iPod nano users

maybe Meizu hasn't yet decided what to do with the bottom part. lol. :D

edit: ok, judging from the fact that meizu has just created a contest about the musiccard, it seems i was correct (well, at least partially) that meizu has not yet fully decided what to do with the bottom part.

ah... wish i could join but i don't have a creative bone on my body. sigh.

hmm...looks to be an same concept as the first nano releases....but no clickwheel of course...that's patented...
...im not a real big fan of the nano and it's small screen...me likes big screen...i hope they just continue with the path they've taken with the miniplayer...bigger screen perhaps...
...but i guess there are people who'd appreciate this.

Why do they call this thing a MusicCARD? Only because it's "so" thin?
The M6 looks like a card, but the M3 looks rather like a stick with its Apple form.

edit: thank you fraxos

This is the M3 and not the M8 which will be presented much later.

either they still haven't decided and are playing about with it, or they are having some kind of legal trouble ? copyright infringement ? just guessing.

be nice to hear a bit more about it.

Guys... sometimes that's called market strategy, some others just development process.

I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make sense. If they haven't decided, then the product is not developed. To release the top half and call it a product announcement is just plain bizzare. If it's a marketing strategy, I also don't see the point. People will have to see what the entire player looks like eventually, and at that point they will either like or not like it. Not telling them what it looks like now will not make them like it later if they woiuldn't like it now. As far as legal problems, that's also bizzare. First, you can't patent dimensions, and if it is the same size as the Nano, it will still have to be released at some time in the future, so not showing the size now avoids nothing.

However, if it was only the top part, it would practically be a music card, like the new apple shuffle, but with a screen.

How cool would that be!
